Remember...art should be fun!

My name is Lisa VanAlstine and I am the artist behind claybrain. I started out working in polymer clay about eight years ago because I was fascinated with the medium. There were so many different things you could do with polymer clay, and there were no real “rules”.  I began making jewelry and then moved on to sculpture.

 

Then, around five years ago I made my husband and I a set of polymer clay wine glasses! These wine glasses were admired and used by everyone who would come into our home.  I experimented with other styles of glassware and different types of techniques. What I quickly learned is that these glasses were just plain fun!  Before I knew it friends and family were asking me to make glasses for them as well. This is how I decided to offer this unique product to you.

 

Of course all of my glasses are made in vibrant contrasting colors. I do suggest when ordering that a variety of styles is always fun, and you will be surprised how often you will reach for your “favorite” glass again and again. 

 

There is one negative thing about these glasses. You can never say that you weren’t sure which glass was yours…if you want to finish someone else’s glass of wine!
